Clomid for men
Clomid is an anti-estrogen preparation, which can help two types of people:
- with low level of estrogen in an organism (in this case Clomid increases the level of estrogen)
- with high level of estrogen in an organism (in this case Clomid decreases the level of estrogen)
Clomid normalize the estrogen level in your organism.
If you need to stimulates ovulation or increase secretion of gonadotropins (Follicle stimulating hormone, FSH and interstitial cell-stimulating hormone, prolactin), take a small dose of Clomid.
If you need to slow secretion of gonadotropins, take a large dose of Clomid.
Women use
Clomid to prepare an organism to pregnancy. Men can also take Clomid in case of infertility.
Dosage. Clomid for men
Begin the treatment from 5th day of the menstrual cycle and take Clomid during 5 days. The recommended dose is 50 mg. The effect is better in case of taking Clomid at night time. If it is happens that ovulation does not occur within 30 days, don't give up and take 150 mg of Clomid a day or increase the duration of the therapy to 10 days.
Precautions. Clomid for men
If you have liver diseases, thrombophlebitis or mental depression, talk with your doctor.
This preparation may be unsuitable for you if you are allergic to clomiphene. Be aware that
Clomid may decrease the level of your attention, so try not to drive a car. Vision problems, dizziness, or lightheadedness may happen during the taking Clomid.
Contraindications. Clomid for men
- endometriosis
- kidney or liver disease
- metrorrhagia
- neoplasms of genital organs
- tumor or hypofunction of the hypophysis
- hypersensitivity
- ovarian failure together with hyperprolactinaemia
- pregnancy
- ovarian cysts
Possible side effects. Clomid for men
Taking Clomid you may confront with allergy to its components (swelling of lips, tongue, face or hives), ovarian enlargement presenting as abdominal or pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, blurred vision, abnormal uterine bleeding, flushing.
Overdose
Never take a dose that exceeds the normal dose. If you have taken too much of Clomid, consult a doctor.
